Dr. Taesun Min,
Dr. Taesun Min, Ph.D is a Professor of the Department of Animal Biotechnology at Jeju National University and Director of the Jeju International Animal Research Center. Prior to this position, from 1994 to 2016, He worked as a Senior Advisor at National Research Foundation, in South Korea. During this period, Dr. Min also served in Korea Research & Innovation Center (KIC-Europe) and National Contact Point (NCP), Ministry of Science & Technology of Korea (MOST).
Dr. Min received M.S. and Ph.D degrees in Animal Resource Science from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea. His Postdoctoral research was in the Department of Animal Science, University of California, Davis, USA. He is also Visiting Researcher in The Institute Sophia Agrobiotech (UMR INRAE, CNRS, Univ. Cota d’Azur), France.
Dr. Min is recognized for his work in the field of Animal nutrition. His research focuses on natural products and their analogs (Nano formulations) to improve livestock production. He has a specific interest in using natural products as feed additives instead of antibiotics to improve livestock’s performance and health condition. He has authored and co-authored more than 100 publications, including articles and book chapters in internationally renowned journals.
